About the middle of April or so was the last time I really did anything with Trevor that semester. This was partly because Ultimate Frisbee ended, and also, I started dating someone else. I had been super interested in this guy since the previous semester, and about the first part of April he started paying more attention to me and wanting to hang out and go on dates. So of course, in my girlish giddiness, I went for it. And I enjoyed it. I was super excited that things were working out with this kid I had crushed on for so long. But lucky (and unlucky) for me, he was from Alaska. So when summer hit about a month later, he headed home to Alaska and didn't really ever talk to me again. I was fairly sad about this, but made the most of my summer by hanging out with some of my best friends. :) It was probably my best summer ever. I thought about Trevor a little bit over the summer (once I'd given up on the kid I had been dating). Trevor was still Best Friend's favorite of all my guy options. The bummer about Trevor though was that he had taken a 3 month trip over the summer. He had the opportunity to travel the world with one of his buddies. They hit up 27 countries (on 5 different continents) in just less than 3 months. They also were able to do this whole trip (spending money and all) for about 7 grand. Lucky guys. (If you want to read a little about their experience traveling follow this link! http://2atw.blogspot.com/). So, Trevor wasn't really an option over the summer. Once the school year started I didn't hear from him until the day I saw him Country Swing Dancing (full story to come).
After Trevor and I had dated for awhile, we were talking about the summer and why we never did anything together after April. I admitted that I started dating someone, to which he replied, "Oh, I know. I saw you two being extremely comfy with each other at that Sean Kingston concert." Oops. I don't remember seeing Trevor there. I was a little embarrassed that he had seen me with that kid. Anyways, I told Trevor that I had discussed him with Best Friend over the summer a little, and he said he had thought about me a little bit too when he was thinking about his dating options. I asked why I didn't hear from him then when school started. He had lost my number. I completely forgot that he had to ask for it again (the third time - he dropped his phone in a hot tub before we went on our first date and had to get my number again). It was interesting to hear about what each other's thoughts were when we were off doing our own thing. I am glad I dated that kid before the summer, but at the same time I think it would have been nice to just have dated Trevor the whole time (even though he was gone for the summer). We probably would have been married a few months ago. I still have to wait a month and a half! That is FOREVER! I just want to be married already. That's all.
